"A suicide bomber driving an oil truck blew himself up after he was stopped at a checkpoint near an Iraqi army headquarters north of Baghdad today, wounding nine soldiers.
The attacker apparently planned to drive the truck into the compound in Muqdadiyah, but guards stopped him at the checkpoint about 100 metres away at about 9.15am local time.
He detonated his explosives belt as he got out of the vehicle, causing it to explode as well, army Col. Ibrahim Hussein said. Nine soldiers were wounded."

"The bombing occurred at 22 hours local time inside an internet cafe. Two men were trying to log into an extremist Islamist website before the owner asked them not to. The two men refused and shortly after, the owner closed the door and threatened to call the police. The bombers asked the owner to open the door and to let them go but he refused. One of the two individuals, Abdelfattah Raydi (23 years old)[2] who carried an explosive load dissimulated under his clothing detonated the bomb which killed him and injured his companion and three others including the owner"
